Speakers

Dr Bob Lodge graduated from Monash University, Melbourne in 1977 and enjoyed broad-based post-graduate training in Melbourne and Oxford, UK before commencing practice as Consultant Physician in 1986. In Melbourne, he had many roles including ICU Physician, CCU Physician, Stroke Physician and Physician in Internal Medicine, before moving to Bangalow in 2002, where he has maintained a broad range of special interests, particularly cardiovascular health, neurological disease and diabetes. His mantra is “the more inquisitive the Medicine, the better the Medicine”.

 
Dr Peter Silberberg is a GP, working at Lennox Head Medical Centre and Rekinding the Spirit Health Service in Lismore. Peter initially moved to the North Coast in 1999 as an intern at LBH. He then moved to the Northern Territory, completing a diploma in Public Health and his GP training, fellowing with the RACGP in 2006. Peter moved back to the North Coast in 2009 and apart from General Practice, has worked as a Medical Educator since then. He was the Associate Director of Education at North Coast GP Training and a Medical Educator with Cape Institute and is also a GP Registrar Supervisor.
